Shaping Christians for the Workplace Online Intensive 22–26 June

This course explores biblical perspectives on vocation and work. It also examines theological and historical responses to work. It looks at different methodologies for integrating biblical perspectives with a variety of work contexts; then survey applications to different work scenarios. A key aim of the unit will be to allow the student to reflect on their vocation, the meaning of their working, and consider more effective means of being spiritually and whole-heartedly integrated while working. It also will address issues of spiritual formation for different work contexts. For church leaders there will be consideration of models of workplace ministry. For Christian entrepreneurs, the course will enable kingdom-centred imagination, aligned with God’s purposes using tools of redemptive design. There will also be an opportunity to reflect on the workplace post-COVID 19.

It will run as a ZOOM intensive 8am – 1pm (Malaysian time) and is just 200RM ($A80, $US50).
